A folder of receipts, one CSV

Drop up to 25 receipts in one go — grocery PDFs next to phone photos — and download a single CSV or .xlsx. Every row carries the filename it came from, so a combined sheet stays traceable.

  • Private by design
  • Lines checked against the total
  • CSV and real .xlsx
  • Batch up to 25 receipts

Read inside your browser. Files are never uploaded or stored.

No receipt handy? Run a sample — always free, never uses a conversion.

Built for receipts. Not invoices.

Store, restaurant, gas, taxi, hotel and online-order receipts — the things you paid for. If a document asks you to pay by a due date, it's an invoice and belongs in a different tool.

How a batch is counted

The limit is 25 files per drop, not 25 line items. A long grocery receipt is still one file.
  1. 1

Select the pile, or drop it

PDFs, JPG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, and WebP can share a batch. Anything else is rejected as an unsupported type. Files over 20 MB are rejected. Neither uses a conversion.

  2. 2

If you picked more than 25, the rest wait

Only the first 25 are added, and the page tells you to run the rest as a second batch. Paste that second download under the first in your spreadsheet.

  3. 3

    Watch which files succeeded

Each file shows a merchant, a total, and whether the lines match. A password-protected PDF, an invoice, or a photo with no readable total is listed with a reason and is not charged.

  4. 4

    Download once

One CSV or one workbook named with the day’s date when several files succeeded. A single-file batch keeps that file’s name. The source_file column is how you split them again later.

Example of a mixed batch: a US grocery PDF and a German fuel PDF from the bundled samples. Amounts are normalized to a dot decimal, so 75.46 euros of fuel sits in the same amount column as 4.29 of milk. Currency stays on its own column. The real file also includes tax, tip, payment method, and receipt number.

The details

What “one credit” means in a batch

Each receipt that converts spends one conversion. A batch of ten successful receipts spends ten, not one. The free tier is three successful receipts a day; the rest of a large batch needs credits. Failed files in that same drop do not spend anything. Details are on pricing.

Pages, not just files

A text PDF is read for up to six pages, which covers a long grocery tape that spilled onto a second page. A scanned PDF with no text layer is OCR’d for up to three pages. Photos are one image. If a receipt is longer than that, split it or expect the unread pages to be missing — the preview total is how you notice.

The column that makes batches usable

source_file is the name you dropped, on every line from that receipt. Filter it to pull one store back out of the combined CSV, or to match a row to the PDF you still have on disk. We never store the file; the name is the only link.

Where the combined file goes next

Import it into Google Sheets, open the .xlsx in Excel, or use it as the working copy for an expense report. It is not a QuickBooks sync and it does not match bank lines.
