Receipt or invoice? A quick test
If the document asks you to pay by a date, it’s an invoice. If it confirms you paid, it’s a receipt.

What happens if I drop an invoice here?
ReceiptCSV looks for invoice markers — bill-to, due date, payment terms, PO numbers. Clear invoices are turned away with a link to LineItemCSV, and they don't use a conversion. Borderline files convert with a note.
What about bank statements and pay stubs?
Neither is a receipt. Pay stubs, W-2s and 1099s belong in StubCSV. Bank and card statement conversion isn't something ReceiptCSV does, and neither is matching receipts to bank lines.
