Privacy

Short version: your receipts never leave your device. ReceiptCSV is a website that does all of its work inside your browser tab.

Your files

• PDF receipts are opened with pdf.js in your browser. Photos and scanned PDFs are read with Tesseract OCR running in your browser.
• Files are held in memory only while the tab is open. They are not uploaded, logged, stored or shared — with us or with any third-party OCR or AI service.
• The CSV and Excel files you download are generated locally, too.

What we do store

• A first-party cookie (rcsv_quota) on your device that counts today's free conversions and remembers purchased credits or an unlimited plan. It contains no receipt data.
• Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs such as IP address and pages requested, as every website does.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout pages. We never see your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
