PDFs from email are the accurate ones. Photos cover paper you never got a file for. Up to 25 per batch. Check each total in the preview.
Dates are YYYY-MM-DD, so a filter or a sort for 2026 works even if the paper said 09/27/2026 or 28.09.2026. Paste later batches under the first.
Nothing in the export is a Schedule C line, an expense account, or “deductible: yes.” Add that column and fill it. The description is whatever the receipt printed.
The spreadsheet is a working copy. The file never leaves your browser, and the workbook does not embed the PDF or the photo. File those the way you already do.

Example rows from the bundled samples, not a tax form. Maple Street’s 2.81 of tax is sales tax on the receipt; Nordwind’s 13.24 is VAT. Those numbers are not income tax and not automatically deductible. The total column is what you paid. Add your own category after import.
Tax is the sales tax, VAT, MwSt, TVA, IVA, or BTW printed on the receipt, with multiple rates added into one number. It is not the tax you owe and not a deduction amount. Subtotal is the pre-tax figure when the receipt prints one. Total is the grand total, tip included when you added a tip. Don’t add the tax column on top of the total.
US month/day and European day/month dates are normalized to YYYY-MM-DD. That is what makes “everything in 2026” a filter instead of a retype. Currency is an ISO code on each row, so a euro fuel stop does not get mixed silently into a dollar grocery run. Put them in Google Sheets or Excel — both open the download.
The sheet plus the original receipts. A bookkeeper can also map the same columns when they record expenses; that workflow is described on receipts to QuickBooks CSV. ReceiptCSV does not file a return, estimate quarterly tax, or give tax advice. Check every row against the receipt before you rely on it.
Three receipts a day are free, which is enough to try the columns. A shoebox is larger than that. Fifty credits are $19 once and do not expire; each successful receipt uses one. The monthly plan is only worth it if you convert every week. Both are on pricing. An expense-report layout of the same columns works if a client wants the sheet too.
